I believe in being an Interior Designer, it is my job to create one's space through the architecture first.
I enter that space, whether it is an old home or new construction and see how it feels to me empty. I want to make sure the architecture is seen if there is any to start with. Then I will work around that architecture to introduce materials that enhance the space to create an environment that one feels at home in. Every home has the ability to be transformed into an amazing space that will reflect who that individual is. If there is no architecture to find, then I will create it.
I feel as a designer I must attune myself to clients sensibilities and tastes. Sometimes this means guiding you into a direction you may never have thought of while keeping the true expression of who you are. In the end I would like your home to have a flow that is effortless and beautiful.
